Chris and Jonah made a book together about the making a movie together. They met up for a chat in NYC to discuss the ins and outs of their approach to shooting Jonah’s directorial debut. Artist Darren Bader stopped by too! Humor, commitment to the craft, Kanye and Corbet were all part of a mind-blowing afternoon. To bolster the awesomeness of this volume, Ryder McLaughlin (aka Fourth Grade) contributed a series of amazing illustrations based on stills from the film and the genius of Tobin Yelland’s BTS images give us all a deeper understanding of how mid90s was made. Running in a near chronological order the film stills mimic how Chris and Jonah shot the film from front to back. It sort of like a high concept flip book. We hope y’all enjoy!
